Who Knows the Answer

For this game you first divide the class up into teams, try to have at least a minimum of 4 teams. Next give each team a white board and an erasable marker. Then read out a question to the class. These questions can be about a book the class read, history, science, math or spelling. The students should then discuss the answer with their group quietly and then put their answer on their white board. Give the students a time limit on how long they have to answer the question. Next have the students raise their white boards. You should then check to see what teams have the correct answers. For every team that has the correct answer give them a point. Whoever has the most points in the end wins.

Vocab and Spelling games on the Chalk bored

A great way to help kids learn how to spell and help them with their vocab is to make it into a game. First start off by dividing the class into two groups. Next you have one person from both groups go up to the chalk bored. You then give them a word to spell or a definition of a word. They then have to write the answer on the board as fast as they can. Who ever finishes first with the right answer wins that round. Keep score every time two new people come up to the board. Each time have a different person come up to the board to play. Once you have gone through all the words (you can repeat words if you want) who ever has the most points then wins.
